Maritime decarbonisation remain strong despite global uncertainties
In a recent survey of shipowners by the Global Centre for Maritime Decarbonisation (GCMD) 77% of shipowners and operators now consider achieving net zero a high priority in their strategy, up from 73% two years ago. This commitment aligns with the outcomes of the recent IMO MEPC 83 session.
The survey highlights some of the factors causing uncertainty amongst ship owners.
