In conjunction with Polyeco UK and Ireland Spill Association are to hold a webinar on the remediation of the shoreline, RAMSAR areas and mangroves following the oil spill following the grounding and loss of MV Wakshio in Mauritius
Nikos Vlachos of Polyeco will present the work that Polyeco undertook, the techniques use and the challenges that had to be overcome. No doubt the webinar will also highlight their work in protecting the environment during the stern removal.
The webinar starts at 1300hrs and will last no more than 90 minutes with the opportunity to ask questions at the end of each session.
