Surfers against Sewage have a very active campaign to rid our marine environment of plastic.
As one of the larger and successful campaigning charities in the UK they have been undertaking a Million Mile Clean and have been analysing the results so far. The thousands of volunteers who have been involved in this have helped to expose over 300 companies who are responsible for the packaging pollution pandemic which is destroying the UK environment.
They are also trying to put particular pressure by naming the 12 companies responsible for two-thirds of the UK’s packaging pollution – their so-called Dirty Dozen!
