The operator of the fuel production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO) Trinity Spirit has confirmed that to date 3 of the 10 crew onboard the vessel have survived. Searches are continuing for the remaining 7 who are feared lost following the explosion on board the vessel
The environmental impact of this shocking incident is being assessed however it is not known how much fuel was on board the vessel at the time of the explosion.
